Review Rating System

RATING SYSTEM

So my rating system is pretty much simple (as you can see, it follows the Hogwarts grading system) though the definition may change from time to time depending on the desires of the Goddess Inari.

STARS

WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

five-stars

OUTSTANDING

Not necessarily the perfect book but brought out a crazed addiction in me… like you know, start a tradition of reading the book/series every year or stalk the author at unhealthy levels.

four-half-stars

EXCELLENT A+

Still addicting but it lacks a certain ‘ooomph’ factor.

four-stars

EXCELLENT A-

Awesome but there were some things that irked me and I couldn’t just let it go.

three-half-stars

EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

Worth my time but a part of me wished for something more.

three-stars

ACCEPTABLE

Okay but can’t promise to remember reading the book after a few years’ time.

two-half-stars

POOR A+

The cons outweigh the pros. A little tweak here and there could go a long way to make this book acceptable.

two-stars

POOR A-

There was 40% gnashing of teeth, 20% of frustrated sighing and 20% enjoyment.

 one-half-stars

DREADFUL A+

Is it worth all the pain?  At some point, I found myself doing stuff that I hate like cleaning the house, washing the dishes, etc.

one-star

DREADFUL A-

One star for the effort of  writing the book. Made me question my life choices.

half-star

PAINFUL

Please give me my happy pill.

ZERO STARS

TROLL.

Made me think of a thousand ways to kill the fucking book.
