Stacking the Shelves {6}

August 10, 2013 Stacking the Shelves 39

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tynga of Tynga’s Reviews and it’s all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Despite a very relaxing week, I only managed to get a few books to share to you, my dear bloggy friends.

Behold my goody/ies from NG…I think NG is already banning me because I still have 8 pending requests on my dashboard. @_@ And those requests were ages ago.

My very first N/A after abandoning the genre 2-3 years ago to focus on Y/A.

And because Goodreads is as bad as NG for tempting me, I now have these for review:

And after reading various fails over the past few days, I thought of treating myself by buying Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking Trilogy (all in kindle edition). It came highly recommended. So I thought of giving the series a try. 😀

What do you think about my haul for this week? Please leave all your STS links in the comments section below so I can check your goodies. 😀

    I really enjoy The Knife of Never Lettin Go, even though I wished the main character Todd was a little bit older. Great haul! 🙂

    I guess it's a bit difficult to completely relate to a 13-year-old boy when you're yourself 20-something woman. 😀 But it wasn't a too big con, so it's all good I suppose. 🙂

    As above, Chaos Walking is a must read… I didn't particularly like it as much as a majority of the world but I still enjoyed it. Well, I still need to read Monsters of Men. Despite my average liking I still recommend the trilogy a lot at work (or maybe that's just to get rid of out shelf stock haha!)

    Cheers for visiting my STS 😀
