Stacking the Shelves {5}

August 3, 2013 Stacking the Shelves 29

What a glorious day today! First, there was power outage. Second, there’s a heavy downpour of rain. Instead of walking my little pooches, I am now typing this post even if the mosquitoes are killing me. Grrrr.

Anyway, without further ado, here’s my book haul for this week…

From Netgalley for review:

Also, here are some free e-books provided by authors in exchange for an honest review:

And because my impulsiveness got the better of me again, I wasn’t able to stop myself from buying this:

I immediately bought Unraveling after reading Kelly’s excellent series overview on her site.

Aside from Unraveling, I also managed to buy all books under the Beyonders Series by Brandon Mull.

That’s all for today, folks. How many books did you get so far this week? 😀

Unravelling is absoloutely AMAZING, but the sequel let me down a bit! I have Silent Echo and If You Could be Mine to read as well 🙂 Enjoy all of your books!

Hi, it's my first visit here. I've written 4 children's books: Tails of Sweetbrier, an award winning autobiography, and 3 fictional books: Charlie the Horse, Charlene the Star, and Charlene the Star and Hattie's Heroes. All of them have great messages for kids and are entertaining. They're all beautifully illustrated by my sister, Holly Humphrys-Bajaj. If you'd like to know more about me, please visit my blog; I have a new kids page too:

Unraveling looks interesting, I've just added that to my wishlist. 🙂 I like Brandon Mull too, I have one book left to go in his Fablehaven series.

Here is my very first STS, if you'd like to stop by for a visit!

    Have a great week!

YES YES YES YES YES! You won't regret buying Unraveling Charlotte! We can fawn over everything together and cry over the ending. :D<3

Thanks, Jade. At least that's just a bit. I will still live.

I am already scheduling when to read Silent Echo and If you could be mine. I hope I will meet the deadline. Yay!

Hala! I've heard a lot of good things about Unraveling but Kelly's series overview on it was the one that really sold me.:D
    Aren't we destined together? 😀 I absolutely loved Brandon Mull's Fablehaven. 😀

I've heard great things about If You Could Be Mine. It sounds like such an intense read.
I adored Unraveling and I hope you do too! 🙂

If you could be mine will be my first read about anything that is related to LGBT. I am quite apprehensive but excited at the same time.

I'll take your word for Unraveling.

Oooh, If You Could Be Mine looks fantastic. I have heard nothing but good things about it.

It's one of those books that Harper Collins Canada really convinced me on when they had their YA preview event in June.

    Enjoy your books.

    Hey, Charlotte!

What a nice haul! I'll check out all the e-books you've posted, to see which ones are available in print. I can't stand e-books!! I don't own a Kindle or a Nook, and, although I do have an Android phone, I refuse to read digital books on it.

I'm glad to see that you got the boxed set of the Beyonders series. YAY!!! PRINTED BOOKS 4-EVAH!!!!

Congrats on your collection! Hope you enjoy them all!

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my own STS post!! : )
