Finally! The week long Read-a-thon challenge is almost finished but that doesn’t mean that you stop challenging yourself in going through all your TBR piles. I for one is getting buried with the volume of TBR books. But no pressure. I just wished that I have enough time to read without sacrificing sleep and my sight.
For this week, I only finished two books which I have discussed in this post. But I am happy to announce that even with my slobbing, I was able to:
- Complete most of the Read-a-thon challenges from days 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. I just wish that I didn’t get too lazy in the first days of the event. My favorite challenges are Oh!Chrys’ Book Spine Poetry, Love.Life.Read’s Cover Title Scramble and Read.Sleep.Repeat’s Summer Flings.
- Posted one book review just hours ago which you can read right here if your are interested.
- Stalked the other participant’s blog and made friends with even some of them. How cool is that?
- Participate for the first time in Tynga’s Review Saturday meme, Stacking the Shelves.
- And cued up four book reviews for posting in the succeeding days. Watch out for that!
Weeee! A big big round of applause to me!
With that said, I’d also like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Readathon Central {the event coordinators} and hosts who went beyond their way in giving a new meaning to book addiction; to those who participated in this event and especially to those who took a moment of their time to stop by in this abode and commented with words of appreciation and encouragement. I salute you, guys! 😀
I am looking forward to another event such as this.
Here’s to all… a flying congrats!!!

Congrats on your accomplishment goals! It's hard sometimes especially with other events going on in a read-athon, but 2 books are still good. 😀
