Finally! It’s Saturday once again, a day to idle around, read books, stalk blogs, and do crazy things either in the virtual world or IRL. But most of all, it means that we are in for another Stacking the Shelves meme with Tynga at Tynga’s Reviews. This is a Saturday event where book bloggers share their book hauls for the week.
I’m pretty much excited to go blog hopping to see what books the others have been hoarding this week. Apparently, I think I am the only one awake at this hour (being in the Phil) and writing this post. No, scratch that. Ana of AnaheraReads have already posted her book haul and so glad that she did because I would have never remembered that it’s Stacking the Shelves again with all the things running in my mind at the moment.
Anyway, without further ado, here are the books that I’ve managed to get this week.
Aside from the above haul, NetGalley was kind enough to approve my request for these two books:
Yes! Yes! I’ve been eyeing the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series ever since it became available in our local bookstores but did not buy it immediately since there are other series that I need to prioritize. So I patiently waited and finally, these two lovelies are now in my hands or in my Kindle for PC (just to keep my mother happy). And I am quite happy that I don’t have to wait long for the 3rd book to come out.
What books did you get this week?
Though I am excited to peruse Daughter of Smoke and Bone immediately, I have to stop myself since I still have to finish Pride and Prejudice and cue these two books next. I want to make a good impression to NetGalley so by next time, I’d be approved for harder-to-get titles.
